Wolfpack To Host Mulitple 7-on-7 Tournaments
2008 Will Be Debut Season for the NWA Wolfpack
2008 marks the start of a good year for the NWA Wolfpack minor league football team. The Wolfpack held tryouts Saturday, January 19 with 45 guys showing up ready to show the coaching staff of the NWA Wolfpack just what they can do.
Several players were able to showcase their speed as Don Simpson ran away with the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.5. Don also was able to show the coaching staff just how strong he was when he put up 26 reps on the 225lb. bench press. Carlos Davis, Patrick Clayton, Thomas Hensley, Tyler LaDuke, Thomas Burton, and Stephen Agnew all were able to hit times within the 4.6 to 4.7 mark.
The NWA Wolfpack is gearing up to hold tryouts for 2008 as they get ready to kick-start their first season in the NAFL.
